Stiles? Oh my god, did you know her? I’m so sorry.

Officially confirming that Melissa and Stiles’ mom weren’t friends, and probably didn’t know each other. This means that a) Scott and Stiles didn’t really become friends and possibly b) Scott only moved to Beacon Hills, after Mama Stilinski’s death. 

So now we have some solid chronology: Stiles’ mom dies first, Scott and Stiles meet, and then Kate burns down the Hale residence (given Scott’s lack of memory of the event, could be shortly after above hypothetical move). This also confirms that Stiles has been blaming himself for his mom’s death for the past (at least) six years, so have that happy thought.
